Sustainable Style. Honest Value. Real Care.
Giving beautiful pieces a second life, one closet at a time.
MY STORY
Since 2023
Hi, I’m Diana Swahn, founder of Fab Thrifts, a curated resale shop where sustainability meets style.
Raised in the green hills of Vermont and shaped by over 30 years living across Maui and Oahu, I’ve always been inspired by nature, community, and conscious living. After years working with an environmental company, I saw firsthand how everyday choices, especially in fashion, impact our planet. That’s what led me to create Fab Thrifts.
Each piece in my shop is carefully selected and given the care it deserves before finding its next home. I personally launder, mend, treat, and refresh every garment, often restoring items that others might overlook like removing pilling, repairing seams, reviving leather and suede, and bringing quality pieces back to life.

Shopping secondhand isn’t just about saving money; it’s about reducing waste, conserving resources, and choosing better. Every pre-loved purchase keeps one more item out of the landfill and supports a more sustainable future, without sacrificing style.
At Fab Thrifts, you’ll find an ever-evolving mix of timeless classics, modern trends, and unique finds that reflect care, craftsmanship, and conscience.
Thank you for choosing to shop sustainably and support a small business rooted in integrity and purpose.

Core Values
Sustainability – Every choice matters. I source secondhand and ship with eco-friendly materials to keep waste out of landfills.
Integrity – Accurate descriptions, honest condition ratings, and transparent pricing guide every listing.
Quality – Each item is cleaned, restored, and carefully inspected before being offered for sale.
Community – Shopping small supports real people, not algorithms. My business keeps local dollars circulating where they’re needed most.
Joy – Fashion should make you feel good — about how you look and about the impact you make.
Our Community
Fab Thrifts is rooted in community & conscious living. Much of the inventory I offer is sourced locally here in Vermont, where I make a point to support small, meaningful causes whenever possible. I regularly shop at the Rutland Mission Thrift Store, where proceeds directly benefit individuals and families in need within our local community. I also source from yard sales, church & estate sales. My goal is to keep my purchasing dollars to help to sustain our local economy. After more than thirty years in the tourism industry, bringing happiness to others has always been at the heart of what I do. At Fab Thrifts, that joy comes from connecting sustainable fashion pieces with new owners who will appreciate & enjoy them for years to come.
When you shop at Fab Thrifts, you are not only supporting sustainable fashion but also contributing to the broader cycle of giving & local community care right here in Vermont.
